Are Macs or PC's better for a computer science major? Save hide report. It's more difficult to dual boot Linux on a Mac than on a PC. But I end up using my Linux installation the most for school work and macOS and Windows for browsing Reddit and whatnot. CompE '17 1 point 2 years ago.
